http://gracehopper.org.in/2013/conference/hackathon/Two days ago, about 100 young women gathered in Bangalore to learn about open-source software in the context of on-going humanitarian projects. 

GirlsLearningCodeToronto also has its own “girls learning code” community. For about $50 a session, mentors in the field of technology teach girls 8-17 years old code. There are also workshops for boys. Scholarships are available as well. Here’s their link:
