The National Film Board’s CAMPUS is a site specifically designed to meet the needs of classroom teachers and students. Create a profile by entering your name and the school where you work. The main site says that you will be charged a yearly subscription fee but you won’t…it’s FREE. Continue entering your information and soon you and your students will have access to 4,000 NFB amazing films with teaching support guides. There are also 500 top educational films on the site. Teachers can use the site’s tools to create their own media literacy lessons with selected film clips and notes that students can then access. When you register on the site you automatically have public performance rights to show the films legally in your school. This is a tremendous resource for Canadian teachers.
