Grammar Girl Nails the “good” vs “well” question. If you’ve never visited the Grammar Girl’s site you probably don’t speak so good.

In the “Good vs Well” article she clears up the problem of people arrogantly correcting you when you say, “I’m good” and not “I’m well.” In fact, both are correct in different situations and both are grammatically correct and any vagary can be cleared up by understanding the difference between linking-verbs and action-verbs.
