The Ministry of Health has a 2-page fact sheet which assists parents and teachers in their discussions with children regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. It addresses mental as well as physical health concerns. Here is the link:

Perhaps the best piece of advice on the fact sheet is for adults:  Begin with informing yourself and correct misinformation when speaking with children.

Being informed about COVID-19 and sorting out reputable facts from misinformation is a daunting and time-consuming task for adults. Sources that we might have previously thought of as trustworthy, have been offering reports that are often contradictory, wrong and short-sighted as the situation changes from hour to hour. One way to approach this challenge is to look at what is going on in the countries have the lowest infection and death rates and learn from them. As of April 2nd, the European countries that seem to be doing the best job include Iceland and the Czech Republic, and in Asia, Taiwan and South Korea.
